The Innovative TV Conference (#INTV2019) today announced more of the world’s leading executives and top creatives who will be completing it’s exceptional lineup and impactful agenda at the sixth annual conference in Jerusalem March 11-12, 2019.

Georgia Brown, Head of European Originals, Amazon Studios, has been confirmed for a keynote conversation in which she’ll outline how Amazon is forging ahead with its new global TV strategy, spearheaded by shows such as Hanna. 

Jed Mercurio, the British television writer, producer and director behind heart-pounding series Line of Duty and The Bodyguard, joins the Emmy Award-winning writer, producer and director Greg Berlanti (You, The Flash, Riverdale) to share personal experiences, knowledge and insight into their craft and illustrious careers as part of a must-watch panel “Breaking Story: Inside the Writer’s Mind.”

Renowned American film and television producer Steve Golin, founder and CEO of Anonymous Content (Boy Erased, Homecoming, The Wife), and the multimedia company’s COO Matthew Velkes, will each be taking part in business-focussed panels at INTV 2019 on the packaging of premium content, and creative financing and strategic partnerships, respectively.

David Stapf, President, CBS Studios; Deborah Barak, President, Business Operations, CBS; and Julie McNamara, EVP, Original Content, CBS All Access; will head to Jerusalem to talk about content creation for all platforms and expanding original programming on the CBS All Access streaming service.

Other panellists completing this year’s heavyweight line-up include Ari Greenburg, President of WME and one of the original Endeavor staffers who helped build the talent agency into the industry powerhouse it is today; Erin Keating, Senior Development Manager of Snap Originals, Snap Inc; film and television producer Liza Chasin, founder of 3dot Productions (and Working Titles’ former US Production President); Jonathan Baruch, Founding Partner, Rain Management; and Sally Riley, Head of Scripted, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, whose credits include Mystery Road, Harrow, The Cry and Redfern Now.

The two-day event will feature a series of in-depth keynote conversations with industry heavyweights dedicated to providing inspiration and insight:

·        Netflix’s Head of Original Programming, Cindy Holland, will share her plans for Netflix Originals on the global streaming platform in a session entitled “When Avi Met Cindy”;

·        Wonderhood Studios’ David Abraham (former CEO of Channel 4) will outline his alternative vision for ad-funded TV networks fighting against the rising tide of the digital giants in a future-focused keynote Q&A entitled “Marriage Vows 2.0 – How Media Economies Adapt to a Future with Less Interruption;”

·        the Emmy Award-winning writer, producer and director Greg Berlanti will take part in an enlightening and entertaining one-to-one keynote conversation titled, “Teenage Idol: Greg Berlanti – From Dawson’s Creek to 14 Series Going at the Same Time;”

·        and the powerhouse at the helm of British public service broadcaster Channel 4, CEO Alex Mahon.

With a nod to the rising popularity of documentaries among viewing audiences around the world, Academy Award-nominated director of RBG, Julie Cohen joins Amy Entelis, EVP, Talent and Content Development, CNN Worldwide & CNN Films, for a panel dedicated to “The Documentary Revolution – Capturing Oscar-Nominee RBG.

Other trends and subject areas featured during this intimate and influential two-day conference include the changing global landscape of scripted content; the rise of short-form storytelling and made-for-mobile programming; how and why filmmakers are influencing and changing the landscape of television; and deconstructing the magical science of storytelling.

With a history of generating international news stories and industry-wide conversation, the sixth edition of the leading international forum INTV will once again provide an intimate but impactful stage for the news-making pioneers and visionaries that shape the global content and media sector.
